Pleasant Valley Children's Center is committed to a play-based approach to early childhood education. We believe strongly that children learn best through active engagement in rich activities that support critical thinking as well as creative expression. Children's play in driven by their desire to build an understanding of the world around them. Our teachers work to provide opportunities for exploration, experimentation, documentation and discovery which scaffold and support each child's learning. They work to ensure that our program is appropriate for all children and each child grows and develops throughout the experience.
